Do you enjoy acting and drama? Would you like to act,
mime and develop your stage craft, performance and movement skills at a drama workshop?
Are you free on Thursday evenings to have fun and enjoyment in a friendly workshop
environment near the centre of Leeds?
Leeds Drama Workshop meets at the Swarthmore Education Centre, Woodhouse Square, Leeds, every Thursday evening during term time. We are an informal, group who enjoy drama, acting, improvisation, script work and performing. Everyone over the age of 16 is welcome to join in the fun of the drama workshops, regardless of background or acting ability. While we put on the occasional public performance, we do not describe ourselves as an amateur dramatic society; our main role is to provide a drama workshop environment where members can practise their acting, performing and drama skills.
Outside of term time, we organise social events and group members are welcome to join the various events that are run throughout the year. Typical events can include meals out and theatre visits and a drama-themed weekend away. Why not come along and join us to develop your acting and drama skills and make lasting friendships along the way!
